Happy New Year to you as well. Yeah, I noticed the capatcha tool, but that would only eliminate automated programs from registering. It would not help manual registrations, and can't siphen out bogus usernames or bogus email addresses. I am getting many who post just to advertize and I am constantly deleting them out. I am not really into selling either, but am always looking for ways to help me maintain my .COM site.
I am glad that you told me about my store site being too busy looking. Always good to get constructive criticism, so thanks. I've been contemplating asking my programmer to create directory rollovers to shorten that list. Either that or, I may start deleting directories. Or, I could have several shops for various products on different sites, but that would require buying more domain names. It's either a matter of time or money, and I don't have much of both.
I've stopped doing the chats a long time ago. I didn't like having to stay in a chat, just to wait for visitors, so am just beaming in on my forum and static pages, which I enjoy much more. Guess at my age, a slower format suits me just fine. Although, I did try a blog format on my .INFO site using WordPress, which is the format most sites are using. Seems that 'Content Management' programs are the thing of the future. But again, the spamming is atrocious and even worse than a forum. Guess its because of the rss feed and others being able to find you quicker.
No books here, L.... Although by now I probably could have written hundreds. LOL

My mind always remenineces to days gone by when we lived there. Lots of family memories in that old house. But in a few years, we will be thinking about a retirement move. Carolinas to Georgia, I guess.
What did you think of the Primaries and General Election? I was really rooting for Hillary, and was furious about how the DNC handled the Florida and Michigan issue.

Happy New Year! All's well here. I know what you mean about the spamming, it's a problem. I think this year I will incorporate an authentication tool. You may have seen what I mean if you have purchased tickets online from ticket-master In order to accept your information, you have to input a word shown on the screen or some other sites I've seen a simple math problem. The point is that a computer would not know to do this so you will only get bonified people.
I took a look at your site, it's coming along very nicely. I liked Cosmeta.com better than .biz. Biz is very extensive, I felt a little overwhelmed by all the choices. As for me, my purpose is dialogue so I don't worry too much about selling things at the moment. I think this year I will have some limited edition art that will be in the store, and of course the IronDove logo Stuff.
How are your live chats going? Are you still doing them, or have you branched out?
You have so much knowledge and material, I wonder, when are you going to publish your book? I know there's a book in there somewhere. Let me know.

Hi Joe, howdy all...
It's been a long time. I don't visit other web site forums the way I used to. Mainly I've been trying to create new web sites... and even hired a programmer to manage my own Server. I've been trying my hand at various ways to make some money on the Internet and it's really slow going. Right now, I have the following additional websites up and running:

I've taught myself a bit of css and redid my entire site for cosmeta.com. Mostly I removed the affilate programs I belonged to like, LinkShare, GoogleAdsense and Amazon. I wasn't getting good returns and all they do is take folks off your site. Plus your pages open slower. Google must have put me on some other list after removing their ads because now my forum is being bombarded with google addresses, who want nothing more than to spam my member list. But say, I am getting in approximately 50-75 new registrants daily. Many of whom I remove for lack of activity.
Bottom line is, I hope you are doing better than I am. Although, I must say, at my age, learning new things is a challenge so I guess I should be proud of my accomplishments.
Anyway, just thought I'd drop by and wave hello.

it has some very interesting spirituality related informaton as well as a forum related to all things Spiritual. The person who runs the board is a really nice lady who we consider a friend and is also a member of our community.
